Whenever Burberry stages a runway presentation during London Fashion Week, the British creative industry turns out in full force. Under Chief Creative Officer Daniel Lee, the heritage house has reaffirmed its identity as the quintessential vanguard of British youth, music, cinema, and subcultural energy.
For the Spring/Summer 2027 presentation, Lee took over an atmospheric show space, summoning an eclectic front row that brought together 90s British nostalgia with contemporary global style makers.
Next-Gen Fashion Icons and Supermodel Daughters
The front row reflected the continuing rise of fashion’s most influential second-generation icons:
- Lila Moss: Channeling her mother Kate Moss’s effortless rock-and-roll nonchalance, Lila sat front and center wearing a deconstructed belted trench dress paired with knee-high leather boots.
- Iris Law: Daughter of Jude Law and Sadie Frost, Iris brought an edgy, tactile contrast in a cropped technical knit and utility cargo trousers with bespoke Burberry shearling accents.
- Romeo Beckham & Kim Turnbull: Continuing the family tradition of Burberry loyalty, Romeo arrived arm-in-arm with girlfriend Kim Turnbull, both rocking tonal tailoring accented with Lee’s signature revived equestrian knight emblem.
The Sound of Britain: Grime, Soul, and Indie Royalty
Burberry under Daniel Lee has cultivated an authentic, deep kinship with British music culture:
- Skepta: The grime visionary and style icon commanded attention in an oversized midnight-navy gabardine coat with exaggerated storm flaps.
- Kano: Acclaimed rapper and Top Boy star Kano looked razor-sharp in tailored black wool with subtle heritage check piping.
- Jorja Smith: The soulful singer opted for an elegant body-skimming draped jersey dress paired with a statement Burberry leather shoulder bag.
